Before working with Neptune, many of our channel partners were restricted in the provision of maintenance and support services offered to their clients and end users.  Indeed, some partners were forced to purchase elements of maintenance and support services that could have been delivered in-house, because their supplier insisted on providing a "total" service (typically, this would include Vendor Support, Spares and Logistics, contact desk response based engineering skills, and a centrally-located specialist skills or skill desk).  This bundled type of support service is usually offered by traditional maintenance organisations. 

The current competitive and cost-conscious business environment now demands value based services, and this lies at the core of Neptune business philosophy.  With key forward-looking industry players, Neptune has developed for its partners an advanced maintenance strategy that is based on a distribution model, and is tailored to meet partner needs by integrating with its in-house capability.  Given that budgets are getting tighter, but the demands and expectations of clients continue to grow, Neptune’s value-based maintenance services can deliver significant cost savings, thereby protecting the partners' revenue streams, and still deliver value to the latter's clients.  These services can deliver savings of up to 30% to the partner, when compared with traditional network maintenance offerings.
